No!!! Just because a woman is on her period doesn't mean she can't get pregnant, if that is what you mean by 'safe.' It takes anywhere from 5-8 days for another egg to form after/during menstruation, and sperm can live within the body for 3 days at least. So if she is on her period, do the math and each other a favor and use a rubber. Or go to a planned parenthood facility to obtain safe birth control (remember that only a condom can protect against sexually transmitted diseases) without your parents having to find out.
